Summertime at the Golf Course

I had the privilege to shoot my niece's wedding in July. It was a beautiful wedding, held at Pebble Lake Golf Course in Fergus Falls. The day started out with the girls getting their hair and makeup done at Attitudes Hair Salon while having their coffee and mimosas reminiscing of the good old days.

After the girls finished up at Attitudes, they came back to Summer's house and finished getting ready. Summer was beyond excited to get the dress on because that meant she was one step closer to seeing Ean. After the dress went on, she made her big reveal to the bridesmaids, had her mother/daughter moment (which had me in tears), and lastly, she and Lincoln had his first look at her in her dress. Ever since Summer has been a little girl, I remember Lincoln talking about the day he had to give his little girl away. If you've ever heard the song Cinderella by Steven Curtis Chapman, this was their song they danced to.

Ean and Summer have known each other since they were in grade school. His mom was actually Summer's Kindergarten teacher. I remember her telling me her teacher's name was "Mrs. Goose" and to think that 20+ years later she is marrying her son.

Summer and Ean are the perfect match ❤️ I have never seen a bride more excited for her wedding day, but really my favorite thing about the day was watching Ean behind-the-scenes adoring Summer and giving her this moment she’s always dreamed about.
